Montreal Pitbull Ban

Lets get right to it then....

This is a pit bull. Like any pup, this breed has its pro's and cons.

One of their greatest qualities is the extremely strong, unbreakable bonds they build with their furparents. Like any living creature, they would KILL for the ones they love.

Recently, news broke that Montreal had issued a ban on all pitbull like dogs.

According to Denis Coderre "Owning a dog or cat in Montreal is a privilege, not a right. And it comes with obligations"

So let me break it down...

Is what pitbulls with family's are meant to look like when out in public. Meaning, going for walks, hikes, days out in the park have now simply become like yard time in prison. The Difference! PITBULLS HAVEN'T COMMITTED ANY CRIME!

For decades, people have labelled pit bulls and may other beautiful breeds as dangerous, temperamental and unsafe.

However, some seems to forget that, a dog's attitude, well any animal for that matter, is simply based on your interaction. If you irritate and make them aggressive, that's what you have taught them to be. It's the same with humans, if somebody is constantly in your face, you go through stages of emotion. Animals, have emotions. They feel pain, anger, sadness and love. They surely feel rejection to.

Muzzles are worst case for those with homes. For those in shelters, there is a much greater concern. All dogs in shelters that resemble pitbull like features, such as the shape of their heads, will be euthanized. Thousands will be killed for no simple reason. Pregnant pitbulls will have their pups aborted and they will be euthanized along with the rest. They will become a statistic.

Earlier this week, a judge in Quebec, Canada, had ordered the Montreal ban on Pitbulls to be suspended IMMEDIATELY! Dog lovers around the world, including myself, were relieved but no celebrations could be made just yet, due to the fact that no verdict had been announced just yet.

Denis Coderre's bylaw made it illegal to own any dog the city deems a pit bull — loosely defined as American Stafford shire terriers, Stafford shire bull terriers, American pit bull terriers or any mix of these breeds.

Since the ban has been suspended Denis Coderre has made the decision to appeal the ban.

Oh- By the way, this is the man that ordered the ban.

He is Canadian politician.

To be honest, I really do not know what his place in the Canadian Parliament is, all I know is he has made a number of enemies.

The judged that ordered the suspension, is completely competent and has done much digging to find out that there multiple holes in this bylaw.

So let me ask you this, when did humans decide they were superior? When did God decide that they were superior?

Animals around the world are being taken advantage of, they are being abused and made into just another number. WHY? I ask you with a bleeding heart. Why? What have they done to become a business, to fill someone else's pocket and be the reason they live a cushioned life.?

People don't seem to understand this.

Who created Zoo's? - Humans

Who created dog fighting rings? - Humans

Who began animal testing? - Humans

Who started selling animals?- Humans

Who assumed Pit bulls are monsters? - Humans

Who is the common factor off all the wrongs being made with animals? -

HUMANS!

Would you say- you own your child? NO... but you would say they are yours, because you care for them, you protect them and you love them.

Why would you want to end a life? Whether it be an animal or not. A life is a life, and they all matter.

So let us all pull together and end this cruelty and abuse. Let us all stand together to END BSL, and save thousands of lives.

Shouldn't SOME people get banned instead? They seem to be the root of all the problems.

You don't have to absolutely be obsessed with animals like us fur parents. But don't be cruel and evil towards them either. They are much as God's creatures as what we are.
